I got the job, so donned my best
to prepare for some clubbing fun,
but skipped the socks when I realized
I had a hole in one.
He said I would see an eagle,
but not even a birdie was seen,
as this guy with driving ambition
puttered around the green.
Still, I had a teeriffic day,
quite above par when through.
Wishing the iron man well, I said:
may the fores be with you.
